Chris Smith was born in Akron, Ohio. He attended Archbishop Hoban High School where he was 1st Team All-City, 1st Team All-District, 1st Team all Northeast Ohio and honorable mention All-State in baseball. He graduated with Honors from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Communications. He played Safety and Linebacker for the JCU football team and helped his team make it to the NCAA Division III Final Four and win the Division III Eastern Region in 2003. He graduated cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2007, where he was a tutor to first year students in torts, received the best overall competitor award for the STU intramural moot court competition, and was a representative for Bar-Bri and PMBR bar study companies. While in law school, he was also certified as a legal intern for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender�s Office and did Plaintiff�s work for personal injury and admiralty maritime cases. Mr. Smith passed The Florida Bar in 2007. He works with Personal Injury cases. |
