 Athletic Shoes
A successful claim was made against the athletic
shoe manufacturer when the high school student
wearing the shoes in a race, fell and was seriously
injured because the shoe did not retain the nylon
cleats. It was proven that the threading of the
cleats did not have sufficient surface to securely
hold the cleats in the shoe.
