Cell Phone Usage

Distracted driving has become a major contributor to automobile accidents. Drivers are more regularly talking or texting on their phones making it difficult to react to potential hazards. Texting while driving causes a 400% increase in time spent with eyes off the road.  Each day in the U.S., over 8 people are killed and 1,161 injured in crashes that was reported to involve a distracted driver, according to the National Safety Council.
