It's your right to have an attorney consultation. Anytime you want you can call a lawyer and let them know what you have been offered and ask what do you think about that. Sometimes it's an offer that makes sense and sometimes it's not. We encourage you to use that right and to speak to another attorney, if you're not happy with what you're being offered or if you feel like you're being pressured. Under Florida law, the law says that you get medical bills, lost wages and then pain and suffering damages. Any sort of injury that's going to limit your enjoyment of your life in any way is a significant injury. Don't settle for less than you deserve without getting a second opinion or before consulting with an attorney if you have been attempting to settle things on your own.
