Video: What Jurors Don't Know
Question:
What information do jurors not get to know in personal injury cases?
Answer:
In auto accident case you bring someone to trial because they're not making reasonable offers. The insurance company that is is not making reasonable offers. The jury does not get to know that the defendant that's sitting there has insurance, that the insurance company is actually hired the attorney that's sitting there to defend them, how much insurance they have or any information about insurance at all. Ninety-nine percent of the time, if we have a case at trial, the defendant that's sitting there is going to have insurance. The insurance company is going to be defending them, and the insurance company is going to be making all the decisions on their behalf. If you hire a personal injury attorney, the attorney has to have courtroom experience working with the rules that jurours are bound to. That attorney has your interests and your interests alone in mind and wants to ensure that you are compensated for your damages. You want to hire an attorney who specializes in personal injury and specifically one who is trial certified.
